The beauty of this recipe is how quick and easy it is to make! The flavors are delicious and bold with Brazilian flair.

Ingredients

  • 2 bunches fresh collard greens, rinsed well with large stems removed, sliced into thin strips

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

  • 1/4 cup fresh garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp kosher salt

  • juice of 1 lime

  • Optional garnish – salt and pepper to taste

  • Optional garnish – fresh lime wedges

Directions

  • Prep all ingredients first, as cooking is quick!
  • Heat olive oil in skillet on medium heat. Add garlic and kosher salt. Stir continually until garlic is fragrant and golden.
  • Add greens to skillet. Stir frequently 3-4 minutes until bright green and starting to soften.
  • Add lime juice and remove from heat. Garnish with salt, pepper, and lime wedges. ENJOY!
