Easy Air Fryer Plantains

Try new things. Take new adventures. Discover new places. Make new friends. Read new books. Taste new flavors. There is so much world out there to experience. For some of us a new adventure may mean driving a different way home, and for others it may be skydiving. Whatever the newness is, enjoy it.

Tastes and flavors… my favorite “new” things to try! I did not discover plantains until the last few years. These are so delicious and go so well with many dishes. They are so quick and easy in the air fryer! ENJOY!

My favorite tips:

*The beauty of this recipe is the ease and quickness! It is delicious and healthy.
*These plantains go well with Cuban food and many other dishes. Serve in place of fries or chips!
*I love to use different salts on these plantains. My favorite is Italian Black Truffle Sea Salt. I also love pink Himalayan and Red Hawaiian salts.
*If you don’t have an air fryer, you can also cook these in a skillet on medium-high heat. Place in single layer in skillet. You will need to flip them over to allow them to brown on each side.
*These plantains go well with other side dishes, such as Southern Slow Cooker Green Beans and Cilantro-Lime Black Beans and Cauliflower Rice!
*I love these with my Favorite Jerk Chicken and Cuban-inspired Mojo Pork Loin!
